Yeay, I made it to my honey and his daughter on Sat. Its been soo good to be back with him, his daugter and the rest of his close family. I decided to be brave(bad me) one day and go off in his big truck and get a feel for the town, butI did get lost several times in his big truck(big truck=scary) once, plus i am a new driver, so that was all interesting. Anyway,it all worked out and I will get used to all these new things eventually. It is still good to be here:) |

I finally got my drivers liscense today, yeay. At long last, now, no more bothering meg, lol, wink wink. Woot Woot, is what i say to getting my driver's liscense!! All is well, i got my loving fiance, his beautiful daughter, a move to florida, marriage in sept, disneyland, license, etc etc. Ofcourse not all in that order. Happy Meg. |

I just am soo giddy and excited, I move to Florida on Sat to be near to my beloved fiance, his daughter and fam, yeay. and i am going to disneyland soon, yeay. I just have a lot to do between now and Fri. I love all you friends of mine and I will miss me beloved locals and ofcourse i already miss those who are not locals. Oh man, i am on the homestretch now. I am moving to Florida in a lil less than three weeks so as to me with my fiance and his girl. OHHHHH, i am SOOOO EXCITED!!! Teehee, but i Have lots to do. Much wedding planning continues and packing ofcourse. OHH and for am early birthday my parents are taking me to disneyland right before I move on my birthday. Man, life is just real good. The best its ever been. So, all you local friends out there, we have to try to hang before i go. Hugs all |

OMG, I found my wedding gown, its sooo perfect. So very Audrey Hepburn and Meg. Looks good on me to, and I often don't think things look good on, so if I think this looks good, thats really saying something. Now to find the bridesmaids dresses and junior bridesmaid dresses. Ahh, this is soo much fun, a lot of work, but oh so fun. Yeay. |

Alas, I am finally updating again. A lot of people know, but for those who don't, this update will be new. I just recently got engaged to the most wonderful man in the world!!! Yeay for voting day. Just voted. Got that done with, few. Well, its been a while since i last update thats for sure. This past weekend i had a marvelous weekend in Arizona where i met a wonderful guy who i ended up hooking up with. Yeay, hes my sweet angel boy. So, i am very happy about that and am very happy that LA is in the near future. Yeay, for a career hopefully starting soon. I miss LA. Must go soon again. Well, take care all. |

Anyway, I have been in LA all weekend visiting my friends out here. I have met soo many amazing people out here. A majority of them are theatre folks, which i just love, and those that arn't are still neat. My plan is to actually move down to Hollywood in like 3-4 weeks. The time has come for me to go. I will stay with my friend Amber and her bf Patrick in Hollywood until i can find a place of my own. I am actually coming back to LA on fri, or I hope to. Mafia will take place again on Fri night, where awesome people are which ofcourse includes me crush, yeay. I saw him this weekend!! He's such a sweet and solid guy. And soo funny.
Anyhoo, I am just soo happy that my life is moving forward. Hollywood here I come! |

Well, I am now a single woman and enjoying it much. LA is calling to me, so I must move there soon. I am going to visit my friend Amber and her bf in hollywood this weekend!! I am soo excited to go see them and to be in Southern Cal for many reasons!!!!
Life is going quite well and i look forward to many adventures ahead!!

wow, its been like ages since i updated. Well, i just finished having a mostly marvelous summer with my fiance. We had some rather frustrating and trying moments, but we got through them. Today, my fiance left, sadly. But hes gotta get back, I may see him next week, lets hope so.
As far as the job front, I am looking for a new job, a higher paying one, so I can actually get my butt out to southern california, where i wanna be, so I can start my career.
Can i just say, i got soo hooked on the Olympics, I wish it could go on forever. And can i just say prolly along with many other women, Ian Thorpe is such a hottie, and such a seemingly humble guy. Man i love hot aussie guys. Love Hugh Jackman too. Sorry mark, about this guy bantering. I love you and only you, no worries, you're my man forever.

So, i went to my former college this weekend to walk in graduation. I actually already got my diploma in Sept 2003 but couldn't walk till June due to some Prin rules. Anyway, I am so glad I went to walk. It was really neat to get to see people again and to wish those graduating well in their various endeavors. It also felt good to be a part of the graduation ceremonies as a grad. Though, i do still feel that my school has some inconsistencies in how they go about their so called mission, I did feel the admin, pres, etc, was really proud of each and every one of us. And they weren't just expressing it just for appearance. So, yeah, it felt really neat to go to all the events and to especially walk across that stage. Hehe, i actually already got my diploma in Sept, so i got a blank one. But still to walk across that stage, with people clapping and cheering and then shaking the presidents hand and feeling like for once he really was proud of me and us all, was really good.
Ofcourse, as is always implied, I was soo happy to get to see my boy. Aww, i love him soo much. Well, thats all. |

I often don't come across any vets in general and certainly not on memorial day. I was at a garden theme park type place today and one of the garden volunteers I found out was a WWII vet. Before even knowing he was a vet, I noticed how much passion he had for sharing what he knew about these cool exotic plants that were growing. He just loved sharing and had such a happy demeanor about him. When I found out he fought in Trinidad at one point and then went over to France, well, i was just soo grateful he was there at these gardens to tell about it and there loving life and nature around him. He pointed out that wherever he was there was no fighting, to paraphrase him, he said it as if an angel was watching over him. I just gotta know these same angels were watching over all the other soldiers then and watching over all the soldiers in wars after WWII. I noticed that this man seemed to go on with life, and that he prolly embraced it right after, well, he certainly is now. I just had soo much love for what he did and love for his passion of life now.
I also talked to an awesome guy(Stew) across the street who flew , i think various bomber planes in the pacific during WWII. I noticed, before talking to him, on his garage, a memorium for someone. As I got closer to it, I noticed it was a memorium of a lieutenant, who i thought was prolly one of Stew's buddies. Indeed as Stew said, this was one of his buddies who lost his life instantly while on the bomber plane. He was only 20:( I'll paraphrase Stew, he noted, why would they stick a 20 year old on one of these planes. He appeared teary eyed. My heart reached out to him. And how wonderful that Stew holds a place for this man always. A good buddy he must have been:) I just wish history wouldn't keep repeating itself and seem to just get worse. Anyway, I must do my prayerful work. I am truly grateful for all those who served and are serving now. |

Its now been almost a year since I finished school, and still no set careers as of now, but thats ok. I am so grateful to have ideas of what i wanna pursue or look into, and to actually be very excited about it.
So yeah, though, i am at square one right now, I really want to look into the performing arts area of casting. I just have this passion for people watching/observing. I love seeing talent or noticing it in someone that maybe noone else sees. I just have this drive to read the unknown or known stories that are out there and to envision people playing these characters within these stories. I have this drive to use my intuition to just naturally see exciting moments being shared between audionee and audience(me)etc. Anyway, i definitly want to look into seeing if I could do an internship or an apprenticeship with a casting director somewhere, someplace. I will make coffee, copys, etc, so as to learn how this all works. Well, as you can see, I am very intrigued by this casting business.Although, it is a harsh world, cut throat at times maybe, i still wanna see what its all about. One can make it work harmonionsly if its right.
As far as work, it has its challenges, but I still like where I am. I love the clothes, the people, atmosphere. Its retail, bleh, but not a bad place to be storewise. Well, das ist alles. |

So, I got a job, finally. I like where I am working thus far. Cash register is interesing but should get easier. Then the cash register system is changing in a month.
Anyway, life here in Palo Alto just keeps going, it goes. I may not see me boy much this summer, so that puts a bit of a damper on things anyway we shall see about seeing me boy in summer. But i do get to see him in less than 4 weeks yeay.
Haha, I did the job predictor thing and it was interesing. Apparently as far as Meg Barrett goes, I will be a prostitute. When i put in my full name I will be a trained assasin. Man, i will be dangerous either way. Interesting...
